What e-ticket office collects when you use the site, why we need it, and who else ever sees it.
Last updated 16 August 2026
To sell you a ticket and let you into the event: to take payment, issue the ticket, prove it at the gate, handle refunds, and answer support requests. We also use aggregate sales figures to run the platform and report to organizers.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not run advertising profiling on this site.
Order, payment and ticket records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Account details are kept while your account is open. Technical logs are kept for a short operating window and then discarded.
You can view and correct your details in your profile, and see your full purchase history in Order history. To ask for a copy of your data or for your account to be closed, write to support@eticketoffice.et.
Closing an account does not erase the order and ticket records we are required to retain, but they stop being linked to an active profile.
Passwords are stored hashed, never in readable form. Sessions use HTTP-only cookies, so no script on the page can read your session. Ticket QR codes are signed, which is how the gate detects a forged or altered ticket. Staff access is scoped by role — gate staff can validate tickets but cannot see sales or finance.
Questions about this policy go to support@eticketoffice.et.
